. love the deeper blue. You can't tell by the photo but the windows have plantation shutters on them.

I think the tables look fine, but would maybe look at a different rug in a bigger pattern that gives a better pop of color. Then you could paint the candlesticks a complementary color, and add navy decorative pillows on sofa.

Love the suggestion of a deeper colored rug. That should go a long way toward anchoring your room. Might suggest you pick a medium tone from the rug and paint your coffee and end tables that color.

Consider the overall look you want including rug, cushions and accessories, as coordination is important. Suggest looking at inspiration pictures for help.

I don’t mind the cream, but suggest painting over the antique finish/rethink accessories.

Yes, navy blue should be fine if you want to paint the table. Leave the wood top.

IMO painted furniture has a very specific look and I think the coffee table looks great where you show it . There are many ways to add color to a space without painting the furniture
