Cory emailed me today and she is fine, but she is having trouble posting. She says the posts disappear. She said her trees are fine but that she had to hack them back to be able to bring them in for winter. However, she is happy to be pest-free thus far. Hopefully she will be able to chime in soon.

Thank you, everyone, for the good thoughts and prayers. Surgery went well and I came home on Wednesday. So good to be home. There is not much pain so that is a plus. Again, thanks for your concern and caring The amazing part of the hospital stay was the food was really good.

I wondered if the less opulent rooms were from the 'in-laws' apartment? Either that or it seems much of the home was a show case for "look what we CAN do" vs the less decorated rooms--where they actually LIVE. The ONE thing I would love to have was the bathroom window. Before I could even think of buying this home the owners would have to move out and take all their furniture and window treatments with them. It's just tooooo too much one can't see the homes bones. Imagine the storage a stager would require!!!

This is just awful. CNN says suspect is now in custody.
