I'd like to be sewing but I just have to get out in the yard at some point this weekend, hopefully tomorrow. Lots of fabric sales around here. Got some pretty stuff on friday 35% off & went to use my JoAnns coupon today but everything was already on sale. so I picked up a magazine, go to the checkout & was told it was already on sale. So she rung it up & it seemed strange so I asked how much off it was.....10% !!!! I should have made her do a return, but I didn't want to be cranky! Live & learn! It's so nice here that I might do some sun paintinng to morrow. I bought some lovely soft white Pima at one of the sales.

They are going to be induced tomorrow morning, so the donation of these 44 wonderful quilts will be made this weekend. Baby James' brother Aaron Thomas Robinson will be born tomorrow hopefully. I will keep you guys informed.

OMG, my friend was over the moon about the quilt! He said over and over how much he loved it, then he started saying, "This was his favorite shirt! This is the one he wore at our wedding!", etc. Then he cried. Then we spent a while longer reminiscing about where they were and what they were doing when he got the other shirts. He was so happy! Brings back so many memories of organizing, pulling off a memory quilt for my parents 25th wedding anniversary. We were just teenagers and never did much embroidery or sewing but how hard could it be we thought....and what memories does one include in a gift--their memories but we chose!?!?! We went on to create quilts for all our weddings--the joining of two families, blocks donated from each side...life used to allow for the time for such things. One of your friends fancy quilting machines would have topped all our quilts off nicely but alas ours were not so blessed. Enjoy!!
