Fabric suggestions

We painted the room BM Shadow https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/2117-30/shadow and we have a built-it-in bench that will need cushions made. I was wondering what fabric colors would go well with this color. Thanks!

It is too early to choose fabric. There is no floor, no other furniture, or indication of what style you like.

I would keep other colors light, since you have dark color walls. You have chosen a cool color, so here are other cool colors: light gray, ice cool light pastels (green, blue, yellow). To bring more light into the room, I would put one mirror on a wall that has a good reflection. If it goes with your style, bring in mirror and glass table tops, lamp bases, and art frames. To discover your style, put in top HOUZZ search box diferent styles (one at a time) such as casual or transitional. Hi madster, Unfortunately, I can't recommend a fabricator in your area, however, here's a photo from the fabricator we plan to use (GA) that could possibly be helpful in giving you an idea of shape, etc. if you decide to go with the glass. Were you planning on using regular glass or crackled glass? I think the crackled glass will be more durable and less likely to break, but the drawback is the price - it's not inexpensive by any means! We've debated actually including it in the design many times for that reason and currently are planning to, but that could change I suppose! We didn't find many fabricators that deal with the crackled glass, but found this one just by doing an internet search. The photo below is fairly close to what we'd like for ours. I'm not sure I'd want it if it would be used on a daily basis or if I had kids - granite might be more practical. I simply like the look of it as an accent and something a bit different, and it will primarily be used when entertaining most likely. Here is a link that might be useful: Advanced Glass Designs

Thx for the suggestion of doing panels instead of valance. The window with plantation shutters also I think would need the same treatment - yes? Put those on to block view but do not want to block view out of the triple window as it provides needed natural light.

Thanks for all the replies, I’ve got three great ideas already! Mtn, she hates slipcovers. She ordered a Pottery Barn sectional sofa with slipcovers and they are incredibly heavy. They can’t fit in her large capacity washer, the fabric is too dense and thick. So she has completely gone off slipcovers, hers are now filthy and she is ordering a new set of very expensive slips from PB in a dark color. She also dislikes skirted upholstery which is a given with slipcovers, so there is no way she would ever agree to them again. I do like the idea of lightish blue denim, though though—thanks! Oly et al, thanks for the Crypton and Sunbrella suggestions. I have been out of the little kid phase so long those did not even occur to me. This is great! She wants a solid color on the loveseat and patterns only on pillows.

What other pieces of furniture are going in this room and what color are they? Are you looking to make this space light feeling (I assume so since you didn't paint the ceiling. Bummer, I'd love to see the ceiling the same color!)? Or do you want it to be moody and enveloping?

Also, scroll down on the link you posted and you will see matching color swatches. I think they are good choices. I often like to use what the experts have picked out to match instead of taxing my brain with color choices!
