MileHigh, I assume you were having troubles with the weep everywhere hose; if so you might want to check out the preformed "soaker hose" which the drip irrigation places sell. This is different than the hoses of the same name at the big box stores which weep over their entire surface. They are solid PE hose with an emitter installed at regular intervals (1' up to 3'). The emitters are pressure compensating, so you can vary the elevation of the hose and still get even coverage. I have found that this type of drip and the T-tape type works much better than the big box weeps everywhere stuff. (you will need a filter and pressure regulator with these emitter hoses) Regardless of what type of emitters/hose, you will need to calculate the flow and pressure of the hose or other water source feeding the system. You need to be sure you can feed the system with the flow it needs at the pressure it requires. Simple math if you are using the drip emitters but for the weep everywhere hoses you probably need a pressure gauge in the system that you can read to figure out how much length your source can support.

Ever heard the saying "I only got two hands." Well, a computer's processor can be compared to that. Except, uh, a 2.4Ghz processor has 2.4 billion hands. But still, it can only work so fast. Giving it not enough room to work (too little RAM) can slow it down. But giving it way more room than it needs to work won't speed it up. Here's another analogy. My desktop workspace is a small kitchen table. It has my computer monitor, speakers, mouse, and keyboard on it. It also has on it other things I like to keep handy to use. I'm the processor, my desk is the RAM. Anything that is not currently in use (on the table 'in RAM') gets put on another table next to me (my page file). I can retrieve stuff from my desktop faster to work with, but having it on a table next to me is workable too, just a little slower. If my table (RAM) were bigger it could hold more stuff for me (the processor) to use. But if I had a table 4 feet wide and 10 feet long, it would hold a lot of stuff, but I still couldn't work any faster. I only got two hands. And here is an analogy for your computer's page file (virtual memory). You are reading a thick book. With the book open you can only see two pages at a time, the page on the left, and the page on the right. These are immediately accessible to your eyes. These would be the information held in RAM that the processor (you) is working with. All of the other pages are still there, but to see them you have to move what is being displayed into the page file and pull out two more pages (turn the page). If you are working on something on your computer it will hold everything it can in RAM. The rest will be shuffled off to your hard drive (page file) to be retrieved as needed. Access times to RAM are much faster than access times to your hard drive. That's because if it is already in RAM it is immediately available. If not, the processor has to call the file clerk and say "take these pages away and bring me more information." Too much RAM won't hurt anything, but it won't help either. Well ours is without question made of 304 stainless. But honestly I don't really see a problem using 430 SS either, depends on the way it was built as in some cases the 430 is better because it holds a weld better and can bend to certain specifications better without cracking. A range made of 430SS inside your house is not going to rust anyway, that is pure nonsense. I DO however think that 430 SS could have more adverse reactions to acidic type foods such as say Tomato Sauce or Lemon juice Vs 304. maybe if you sat it in a corner of an abandoned house for 30 years maybe, but if you use it everyday in a house with AC it is not going to rust, but it very well could have more staining with acidic foods. I think that 304 stainless is critical on a BBQ grill, but not so much on an indoor stove. But I am still glad mine is made of 304 Stainless anyway. But there are many things made of 400 series stainless that work just fine, never rust, one I can think of is most "Food Slicers, Deli meat slicers etc" are made of 400 series stainless. Car exhaust pipes are usually made of 409 stainless because of the better welding and heat resistance. I once had the pleasure of meeting an old guy out in California, he lived in the middle of no where on many acres of land and when I met him I drove through the classic old gate with elk antlers on top and his house was built in around the 1830's, was an old adobe that was built by a Mexican General when California was actually Mexico. House still stands today with the same tile roof, just one addition was added on about 100 years ago but other than that was all original, No AC. He had as his stove a old wood stove that was thickly enameled color of like a seafoam blue/green and all the corners and edges were all Stainless Steel. Had to be a 400 series stainless because I don't think the 300 series was even in use yet. That stove looked like it brand spanking new and at the time I saw it was about 90+ years old. Not a speck of rust on it, of course it was thick as hell but still the surface was still like new. I actually find products "Made in USA" about 75% of the time to be pure crap in every way. I bet 95% of the world views items "made in USA" exactly the way people like Deeageaux does about China. In general about every product I see with "Made in Germany" tag on it is probably about the only one I can generally count on being very well made, I can usually count on a high price for that item also. Most of the working parts in the NXR come from every place except China, it is basically just "Assembled" in China and who better to assemble than those that have been assembling things for decades. Also it is probably the larger brand name companies that are forcing retailers not to carry a quality product that cost far less, that happens all the time in every category of product.

Don't be taken by the fifth burner. At 30", you'll likely never be able to use more than 4 at a time. Also, you mention a new hood. Do you have a ventilation system with make-up air? If not, there is a limit to how many BTUs you want to have. The Jenn Air 30" Pro-Style dual fuel range with multi mode convection has a lot of what you are looking for and is under budget. The Wolf, well the Wolf is like the adult version of the Jenn Air. All of its burners are dual stacked 20K burners and the broiler is IR. It is over budget, and there were issues at one time with the blue porcelain interiors chipping. I don't know how those were resolved, or whether they are ongoing. These are sealed burners whereas the BS and CC are not. This one will definitely need a hood with MUA. I used to research this stuff until I was blue in the face, hoping to find the best option, trying to figure out which would be the best one for me. Half of the meals I've cooked in my life were in rental apartments or in friends' homes. The truth is that a great range makes life easier than a crappy one, but OK appliances are usually just fine. You don't want one that needs to be repaired often. In my case, I don't want one that will need a ventilation system with MUA. My sincerest advice is not to break your budget, but to find something that is reliable and close enough. You're not choosing a spouse (something I also haven't done).
