outdoor patio setup help

We just bought a new house and I’m trying to figure out how/where to place outdoor patio furniture like a sofa and/or chairs and a small table (could be a side table or small dining table). The space is rather tight between the fireplace and the outdoor kitchen so I’m not sure where to place what. No clue where to even begin. We may eventually add a pergola over the uncovered part of the patio. We plan on putting a TV in the fireplace cabinet with a mount that swivels out. Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Hard to be specific without dimensions but perhaps furniture that's not too big and a layout like below would work.

Yeah, I have to squint but I think I see what you're talking about. The problem with putting the dining area behind the kitchen is that the kitchen will be totally closed off from the outside with little natural light, which would be a problem for me. Also, I'm not sure about your concern re conversation; either people are in the kitchen during food prep, or they're at the table eating, not usually both at the same time. The only proximity issue is carrying food from one to the other. I'd leave it as is.

That is a magnificent privacy "hedge". :) I'd do the full width as well. A slab would be better than pavers of course. If you can plan a redesign of all the rocky areas to get done at the same time, it'll probably save a little money as well as looking more cohesive, especially if you do anything like brickwork. Walks to the gates would be nice addition.

Agree, size info necessary to offer good suggestions.

Our patio (26x24) likely is larger however includes a Pergola plus an adjacent firepit. Here is a video for some ideas.
