You will be able to find exactly what you want on the TruStile website. They have a very usable door designer application. They do MDF as well as just about any wood you want. You can specify sticking, panel designs, and even the glass. When you order the door from your local TruStile rep, just specify a door blank and then your builder will hang it on the Pocket Door track. For a half-wall cap piece that will support glass, I want the cap flat where the glass will bear upon it. In your case where one side is wet, I'll bevel that side. If the cap is 6" wide, about half the width, or about 3", will be beveled. Shaving it down about 1/8" over those 3" gives an effective pitch of 1/2" per foot of run. Plenty enough for drainage. This drawing is intended for door thresholds, but the profile is roughly the same. If your cap was 6" wide and 1" thick and you wanted the glass roughly centered on the cap, I'd start the bevel about 2-3/4" from one edge and take it down so the beveled edge is 7/8" thick.

Magnaverde once did a very interesting post about having darker colors on top vs. the bottom and in his writing he said that when chair rails were first used way back when, the dark color was always on the top, it wasn't until the 20th century that people started to reverse it. Until I read his writing, I was sure there was a rule too, but as it turns out, not so. Do what you're interested in doing, chances are in your favor it will look lovely and if not, it's only paint, right?

Painting it white or some light color will make it stand out more. Do you want that? The other option is to paint the walls a darker color which compliments the oak, which will make it stand out less. Lots less work too, painting the walls. For it not to stand out at all, the wall and oak must be painted similar colors. Right now your blueish (at least on my monitor) color on the upper wall is maximum contrast for both to stand out. I was in the same boat, and decided to paint the walls, because it was easier than doing all the trim. I strongly suggest a medium tone, since light or dark makes more contrast. Or if you paint, a color close to the trim paint color. Google paint colors to go with oak to get some ideas if you're interested.
