I think your ideas of a chair, end table, reading light, and wall art are great and would work well in that space.

You do need to take a picture that shows the whole room…and/or offer measurements ..even a floorplan….you pictures are at best ….confusing

Is it only ideas for a reading corner that you're loking for? any other purpose to the room? you mention a TV but I don't see one nor do I see what's at the other end of the room to give valuable suggestions style wise. Please post more photos.

Is that a heater on the floor under the window? Do you need to keep that clear in order to not block heat from coming out? Do you have a functional need for this space? Do you think you will ever actually sit here with a book and read? Do you entertain guests in this space, do your need a bar somewhere?

Just want to add that those are not the dimensions of my actual furniture and I also don’t have everything on the floor plan. Just sending for ppl to have a better idea of the dimensions of that corner that I’m looking to fill.

Not unless those little dark brown chairs are gone, along with the toy storage. If they’re gone, then you’d have room for one chair in that corner, with a table and lamp.

Yes @kendrah there is a heater under the window and it should be kept clear. I’m really just looking for ideas on what to do with the space, extra seating is always good and yes I would actually sit there to relax or read a book. Yes we entertain in this space. I don’t think a bar is something that would work for us. Thanks.

I think you answered your question with just a chair, side table and lamp. Art work would be very nice. I wouldn’t add more than that.

I think sunshine is good for us …in so many ways… for that reason a chair that will rotate to face the sun and view(?)…and curtains that do not overlap the window when open…would create a comfy spot.. if you have an infant …what a great spot for a bassinet…or play area

A good size rug will make it more “friendly”as well

A space that small probably doesn’t need to be “balanced”

It may all flow together better if the drapes touched in the corner

Hi, I think adding a reading chair, lamp, end table all sound good. You can go in couple of directions: firstly you can think about adding two chairs with an end table, table lamp, rug and artwork; secondly, if you go for a single chair, floor lamp and end table, try and add a rug, console with some storage and style it in a way it enhances the wall that is at an angle.

Another consideration would be a good size rectangular coffee table … which would serve more people .. more conveniently …to put their feet up or serve snacks/drinks
