Help with placement of faucet

I have 2 faucets One is polished nickel 1 is champagne bronze I'm undecided where to put each of them? In the downstairs I have a powderroomAnd was going to do it the polished nickel since I did my kitchen gold Upstairs I have a black bathroom vanity with gold handles that I just bought. Would the PN look better on the vanity instead of the champagne bronze?. And I do the Polish nickel downstairs instead. The handels for the gold I didn't put in pictures just the faucet but I thunk u can get an idea ? I have a pedestal sink downstairs bathroom that I could do either or ? I was thinking the PN bc I thought I needed another metal besides the champagne bronze since I did my kitchen faucet in that finish ?

I actually think either a brushed gold, brushed nickel, or black faucet would look better than either the current bronze or polished nickel faucet. I think the style of the bronze is nice but the finish clashes a bit with the gold handles. I find the nickel faucet finish too shiny compared to the handles and its style too basic for the elegant countertop and vanity.

I'd match the same gold on the dark vanity for your faucet. don't like the PN w/the brushed gold on that one.

the gold faucet you do have doesn't look like the more vibrant gold of the pulls?

If it's any help, I did matte black w/a more vibrant gold on my vanity

I like the PN faucet. if you want to use it, then change out the handles to PN on the vanity.

as for the others, don't know w/o pictures

I'm struggling with the same decision. It isn't obvious to me which is the drain end of the tub. If it is by the shower, then placing the faucets next to the vanity would put them right into your back as you bathed. If it is the other end, then it seems like the vanity end would be the logical and convenient place. Is putting them as a wall mount on the long wall a possibility? You'd have to redo the sheetrock, but they'd not be in your back. You'd have to reach over the tub to turn them on, but it doesn't look like the tub is too wide to reach easily.

Something I wish I'd noticed earlier ... I previously had a centered handle, but bought a gooseneck style faucet with a handle that could go on the right or the left. Since I'm right-handed, I had it installed to the right. However when I am at the sink I always hold the glass, or sponge, or pot with my right hand, and turn on the water with my LEFT hand. I've been here over a year and I'm still criss-crossing my hands the wrong way, and one of these days I'm going to switch it to the left.

They're usually lined up. It's a good idea to lay the faucet out before the holes are drilled and make any adjustments front-to-back just to avoid surprises on where the spout hits the sink.
