Comments (3)I'd be very surprised if any orchid is toxic, for example, the Australian natives used various orchids in their diet. The forum is very slow today, not many posts at all. The treatment you gave your plant sounds good and hopefully it will recover. Volcano Queen is the least important part of the plant name .....correct setout is Mtdm. Issaku Nagata 'Volcano Queen' The volcano queen bit is j similar to John where the surname is SMITH ....See Morevolcano phlox with splitting stems - pix
Comments (3)at link.. 4th down .. the blurb says: If you see split stems this is probably due to drying out followed by watering. i always thought.. they were just growing faster than they could cope ... and considered it cosmetic.. and the solution to that problem.. is to quit sticking your head inside the plant.. and enjoy it from a little more distance.. other than to whiff the scent.. lol nothing to worry about.. IMHO ... ken Here is a link that might be useful: link...See MoreBlc. Always Dream 'Volcano Queen'
