If you want detailed help, we will need a fully-measured & labeled layout of the rooms you are asking for help with, preferably to scale (use graph paper - either by hand or online). This gives us a feel for the space and allows us to see what would actually fit rather than just guessing. (Realtor photos aren't very useful as they are distorted to make rooms look bigger than they actually are.)

We also need a full-floor sketch of the floors to be remodeled. The sketch lets us see how the rooms relate to each other. It doesn't have to be to-scale, but it should include all interior & exterior doors & windows. In addition, it will help us see how traffic flows in, around, and through the home. Label the front entry and family entry. The family entry is usually a garage or side entry, but it might not be. It's helpful to know which door you use to bring in groceries.

Have a very healthy budget and hire a designer to create a plan. Just a kitchen redo is 100K before you even blink. You want a whole entire home redo. Double to triple that kitchen redo cost.

What kind of DIY skills do you have? Can you sweat copper plumbing? Run wire? Trim out a room with crown? Build and install shelves?

Don't do anything until you've lived in the house at least 6 months. You want to get a feel for how the house lives and many times the ideas you have before moving in, will not be what would work best after you've lived in it for a while.
