Thanks for the tip i will work on getting there for sure. I love just seeing succulent arrangements on display.

For a guy like me, who's never really seen cactii, nor really paid it much attention, I gotta say - WOW!!! caudex1: I had to double check, when looking at some of pictures posted, as I though I was in the bonsai forum. My favs are : Aloinopsis peersii Anacampseros telephiastrum side note: That bark detail on the Bursea lancifolia is really nice. You took some great shots. (and I might add, nice camera!)

I think I can leave the African/Arabian ones out 9 months of the year, it does get into the 40's at night here in winter so they'll have to come inside for a few months. The trifasciatas however, can stay outside, they are on porches, in the ground, businesses - I just never noticed them before. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pinguicula (last thing I bought, 3rd round looking), I've not seen multiples like that. Four plants (and a fifth starting) in one. Some vendors have them priced rather high, this one was not, hence, I grabbed it. As it was pointed out to me, had I not seen it, I wouldn't know what I had missed, but having seen it, if I hadn't bought it I would have regretted it later. Yep, been there, done that. But not that day.
