I had seen several in the various Louis styles that were close, but when I looked up images for Jacobean Revival, I came up with this one linked below, which is the closest I have seen. I think French Rocaille might be a bit more descriptive, because of the foliate forms and assymetry However it is Rocaille Revival if there is such a thing--it looks like 1960s---it could fall under the general umbrella of Hollywood Regency, which is a combination of a number of fancy historic styles.

yes, I saw that. benjes, I didn't mean to suggest that your comment was for just me. I did suggest she move the photos, I just didn't say 'they don't belong'. I'm on the fence with it. If one doesn't have any worthy art, and the family photos are done in a way that look good, coordinate w/one another and properly sized, then I suppose you could do it. But for over the sofa, I still prefer one or two large pieces of actual art. or a mirror. and I'm loving this danish chair w/the teal cushions

MCM style...lots and lots available, from lots of vendors, at different price point. Start with overstock.com

MCM-ish style. But not a timeless MCM chair. I would research timeless chairs designs from the 1950s and then try to find something similar that is a timeless design.
