I've installed both stained (cherry wood, dark stain) and painted (maple, light gray). The dark stained cabinets are installed in a master bath. They knick very easily. A friend suggested I purchase some Mohawk wood pencils that are used by furniture refinishers to touch up furniture. I'm going to try that. The touch-up kit that came with the cabinets is similar to a bottle of finger nail polish, and I don't think it looks good when painted on the cabinet. The painted cabinets looked beautiful when they arrived, but after installation I noted 56 scratches, dings, and spots where the paint knicked off. The wood seems very soft, and I am really concerned at how the finish will wear in a kitchen area that gets a lot of traffic. Our kitchen is pretty small, maybe 12*15. They are very sturdy cabinets and built well - there is some inconsistency is door and drawer sizes so some areas look a little off, like a set of drawers in which one drawer is slightly longer than another, or two cabinet doors that shut, but one is slightly longer than the other. I did not purchase custom cabinets, but I haven't had this issue with similar renovations in previous homes.

Either in the top spec line is a fine choice. It does you a disservice to be comparing only on price though, when you are not comparing apples to apples components, and are in fact comparing the lesser spec'd secondary line of Mouser with the much better standard line of Dura. My vote would go to Dura, simply based on the long time family ownership group still being active and not swallowed up by corporate holding companies. And the fact that they simply don't do a dumbed down lesser spec'd line with a much lesser warranty like Mouser's Centra. With Durasupreme, what you see is what you get, with no flimflam of different specs for different levels to mislead you.

Either would be a good choice for the quality and customer service. Some lines are better at some things than others. So, if you are comparing framed and frameless, you're not comparing like for like. Go back and be sure that you are first of all comparing the specs for the same thing. Then, compare the finishes. Some lines do paint really well. Like Plain and Fancy. Some lines do incredible wood finishes. Like Medallion. Then there are the specialty custom touches that one lines offers that another upcharges for, or will only do as a custom quote. You should also strongly consider which Kitchen Designer that you work best with. Who "got" your ideas immediately? Who has been working longer with which line? Who sells more of their respective product? Who works better with your contractor? Who answers your phone call? This is a Bigger Deal than you think. One who sells a lot of product has more leverage with the company rep if things go sideways. A good designer can make a project run smoothly. A bad one can wreck your timeline and sanity. Overall, you will not be disappointed by either. It's may seem overwhelming to choose, but there is no bad choice here at all. You're at the point of picking nits.

@Jim S You asked me earlier where I was seeing negative reviews for Wellborn, and I'd have to go back exactly to track down each one, but I'm like a reviews searchlight looking absolutely everywhere to find any negative reviews I can on a company and then comparing them with others. So, I'll do specific searches here at Houzz, then look on various forums online to see what people's experiences have been, and if there are any consumer reviews websites or mentions on social media, I'll pick up on that as well. When you find a company that hardly has any negative reviews and rather has many glowing reviews about customer service, quality and durability, then those are the companies that interest me. Plato Woodwork in Minnesota is one such company, and they do a frameless line called Inovae. Another is Bentwood based in Texas literally within walking distance of my house, so I could really save on shipping if I went with them. They do a frameless line called Harmoni. Have you looked at Brookhaven, the framless line of Wood-Mode? Brookhaven is a well-built frameless line. UltraCraft is one of the better made frameless lines and may actually be a little less expensive than the previous lines I've mentioned. If you are seeing fewer negative reviews for Dura than Wellborn, by all means go with them if you're comfortable with what you see of the quality, service and pricing.
