Well, I certainly couldn't have done ANY of this without all of you. I am so happy looking around my new rooms. My favorites: the furniture placement (of course), the art wall, the mantle, the 3 vases on the black tray on the table (although there may be too many flowers in them at the moment), the fabric covered shade in the dining area. the sofa table bookcase, the fireplace screen... I'm going to interrupt myself because now it seems I'm just listing all the changes. It's obviously too hard to pick just 2 or 3 favorites. Theresa, your peonies are gorgeous -- loving the size of those blooms! I hope to follow all of you as you move on to new projects. I consider each one of you a new friend.

I think you'll have a difficult time balancing this furniture, given the super wide doorway to the next room. Personally, I'd move the sofa back, so it faces the fireplace and is viewed as you enter from the adjacent room. Although it may make for difficulty in conversation, I'd move both chairs to the left. For balance, you might try a tall and wide shelving unit on the far right wall. To make it easier, why not "build" something from pieces of cardboard and move it around until it suits you (or not). You may end up wanting a larger piece of art on the wall to the right, or some floating shelving.

Hi! the room is rather wide, isn't it? Hmmm...If you don't want it too crowded, you may only have room for a couch facing the tv and then two accent chairs on either side. Maybe a couple stools in front of the fireplace that could double as seating but could also be stored away...maybe under a console table under the window to the right of the stairs. I'm not sure you'd have room for a loveseat. Would you be able to buy the couch first to better gauge how much room you'd have? You could also lay out a rectangle on the floor with tape to see what the footprint of the desired couch might be.

Really great space. Liking all the natural light. Remember that what you put on your balcony will be visible from, and, therefore, a part of your living room decor as well. If you like a lot of plants, you could even add shelving to create a "green wall" of plants indoors -- and, in addition to Houzz, you might enjoy https://old.reddit.com/r/houseplants/. Consider the seasons in your planting zone. Do choose plants and plant stands that will enable you to move the plants you intend to put on your balcony indoors or outdoors as needed. For that narrow balcony, a couple of comfortable collapsing camping chairs and a small table might be the best beginning. The term BOHO, to me, implies a more casual vibe and furnishings focused on comfort rather than a formal room. Not personally a fan of the green rug with the gray sofa and walls but in a BOHO vibe room, it could work with the right accessories to connect the two colors. Unless you have no privacy concerns and are already planning to use only sheers ... and though I am likely the only one that would recommend it ... do at least consider white vertical blinds (vinyl or wood depending upon your budget) for your window-walls. They'll provide more privacy and light control options -- and white blinds tend to visually "disappear" better than reams of fabric hung on the wall. The "dry bar" seems totally irrelevant to the space. Would want the walls of the niche painted the same color as the walls of the room. If this is a rental, I'd add shelving above the base cabinet. If you own this condo, unless you have a specific use for this feature as is, consider removing the cabinets and adding plain bi-fold closet doors installed within the niche and painted the same color as the walls to make them visually disappear as much as possible -- a lot more useful since we all seem to need more closet space. I do like the look of your sofa. You may want to rethink your placement of it, though -- especially if this space is a living / dining combo -- so use your sofa as the room divider. If there is to be a television in this room -- unless you are placement limited by a cable connection -- you may find that putting the television in the corner between the two windows yields the least glare.
