I got most of my brassica plants put out over east. Brocolli , cauliflower , cabbage , kale , collards ,some spinach plants. the ground was a little gummy but was able to air it out with the tiller some.

Covered the brocolli and cauliflower with gal milk jugs , looks like a flock of geese out there. More for rabbit protection than frost really. rabbits seem to go after the brocolli more than anything else.

Looks like the weather is going to be yucky cold and wet for a couple of weeks. Hope it doesn't cause the brocolli and cauliflower to button but I suspect it probably will some.

Next up is planting all the cool season greens , carrots , beets and green peas. Need a good seed bed for planting seed but may not have that till late March or even into April. By then it'll be time to plant corn and start flirting with putting out tomato plants.
