Just one thing to consider …i would choose a U shape ..sleeker…pull with no extensions at the ends …the pulls that have the little protruding sections at each end could catch things…like a pocket or your clothing…it also appears that there is no handy spot for kitchen towels?…you may want to put little bars inside the doors under the sink?..we also installed a little tilt out drawer in the parallel section under the sink for scrubbies..sponges…etc…to avoid clutter on the counters

The only thing that stands out to me is in the one picture of the sink. The drawer to the left of the dishwasher deserves a knob not a bar because it is so small. Be sure that on the tall door to the right of the sink that that knob is in line with the bars.

Personally I think the great Brizo faucet textured pull out and textured handle needs to relate to the knobs. The faucet is somewhat edgy and technical... find some pulls with a little character too.

Do you have an 8 or 10 in option? The 6 seems too small and the 12 seems to large. I like a the idea of a larger pull. I just think 12in seems too big for the scale of the kitchen. Love your cabinet color!

Here is a pic of my pulls which are similar but do not have those catch-hazard extensions: generally I read that you should shoot for about one third the width of your drawer, so that is what I did.

Another vote for no knobs at hip height -- they'll tear your pockets and pull your headphones out! :((

In the pics the drawers left and right of range look similar in size, so I’d match the pulls….9” or 12” on both. We used Top Knobs (Aspen Flat, solid cast bronze in Light Bronze) in our kitchen, all pulls, 6”, 9” and 12”. I agree with suggestions to use pulls w/o any parts that “stick out”, and I’d also stay away from textured (“rippled”) designs (as suggested by Paul) that will be difficult to wipe…..you will get food on them, be it from someone’s not quite clean hands, or you’re baking and flour etc falls down the front.

If the sink doesn’t have a tilt out tray, don’t put any hardware on it.

We also used knobs on upper doors and two sizes of pulls on the drawers. Three sizes is too many. @Jan Moyer gave you the two sizes. (12” is too big for anything)

And don’t get any style that has an extension that can catch on your clothes.

So interesting you mention TK Ascendra which was my #1 choice from the very start but when I received the sample, the honey bronze was very gold and reflective. The TK Kingsbridge was a deeper and less reflective gold which matched our Brizo Luxe Gold faucet.

Below is the Emtek Westridge pull(May be new.) I'm going to order a sample because some of the other Emtek's we considered did have right finish. Please let me know if have seen the Westridge anywhere and/or any ideas on matching the Brizo Luxe Gold. Style is transitional.

Any suggestions for paint color which will carry through to the LR and hall? Trim wil be BM White Dove. In the running (all BM) Pale Oak, Olympic Mountain, Balboa mist.

@Cheryl BKaun, yes those are the Ascendra. I don't have any knobs at all. I've only got two sets of doors and one of those is a pull-out trash under the sink...so I decided to just go with all pulls. Something about the all-horizontal look appealed to me. My doors, drawers and pullouts are all over the map - everything from 11" pullouts (4 of those) to the doors which are 15 and 18, then drawers that are 27, 30, 32, 36 and 39. (I'm really trying to squeeze every inch out of this fairly-small - 150 sq ft - space). So again, I just aimed for about 1/3 of the total width and just took it from there, trusting that having the same "model" in different sizes will look uniform enough. Time will tell!

Actually, it's simplicity is VERY WELL SUITED to your faucet, and darn close to same finish.

I know you liked Ascendra......but given your faucet? A bit too traditional.

A note to others:

These "special" finishes in faucets are indeed lovely.

But IF your appliances are stainless, and if you've got an under mount stainless or apron....or white sink? Go to stainless on the faucet if only because nothing is more "forever" easy clean, and it's your appliance finish anyway, right?

That leaves you that second accent finish for hardware and lighting : ) Brass, matte black....etc. Those are an easy change up the road. You really do not need more in a kitchen. There are also a slew of options in those categories - makes life very easy.

If you are going to use pulls on doors mount them vertically.. much easier to use.. and a more clear message as to which way they pull out…

For the same reasons about comfort and ease.. I would prefer the curved corners on the pulls over the sharper angled ones

@Sally T - I used 5” and 8”.

People forget that PROJECTION is another key measurement. My husband has big hands and I made sure to buy samples so he could test any handles in the running. These were comfortable for his hand, the right design (simple) and finish (ORB).

I bought SO MANY samples so for anyone doing hardware, hang in! It does take a while to get the right style-color-measurements. Take @Jan Moyer’s help to heart.

I just got a Westridge pull after @Cheryl BKaun suggested it and love it! I think that it would look great with the faucet.

@RedRyder - I meant to ask you - which pulls are those? Do you have a link? So pretty.

In my kitchen I used the Davenport from TopKnobs: pulls in 3 sizes on drawers (plus appliance pulls) and knobs on doors.

I will go find my invoice from the hardware site and get you the name of the pulls.

My hardware is from Knobs4Less and it’s made by Rusticware. My order shows an item number that doesn’t come up when I tried it.

There are similar pulls by Rustic pware, on their own website, but they’re not “exactly” the same. The finish is ORB.

My knobs look like their current #915 in 5”.

My pulls are similar to #983 and the 8” #985.

I like all pulls but I like them to be in proprtion to the drawer or cabinets and sometimes some vertical and some horizontal It sometimes takes me a couple of hours to figure out the proportion and get all the blue tape in the right spot and size. Please never 2 pulls on a drawer

@Lori I LOVED the Emtek Westridge Pulls and Paxton Knobs in Satin Brass! They aren't a high gloss/bright gold so they go well with the Brizo faucet. I had tried over 30 different pulls(I know...ridiculous!) so I am thrilled to have finally found "the one"! Ordering tomorrow. They won't be on until May 1st but I will post a picture then.

@Sally T Sorry for the delay...we were away! I haven't ordered them yet because I didn't want to make a rash decision before we left for our vacation.

I am remeasuring right now but think I am going to the 10" Westridge most drawers-- 32"(pantry), 31"(sink pull out) 28"(either side of range) and 27" on the oak island(silverware drawer). On my 17" drawer to the left of the my silverware drawer, I'm doing the 6" pull.

I'm questioning my 9 inch drawer options. Should I use the Westridge pull in 3" or should I do the Paxton knobs that I'm doing on all of my uppers?

My other decisions are the pantry and laundry doors. The pantry is right next to the laundry(bummer, I know!). Should the pantry and laundry doors get knobs or pulls? The laundry doors are solid wood with full extension exterior hinges(only thing that would work there).

Anyhow...back to YOU!! For yours, I think the 5" on the 15, the 8" on the 24 and 26" and either the 10" or 12" on the 34". Make sure to tape the cabinets to get a good idea of what it'll look like.

@Sally T Well...I just changed it up. The pantry and sink drawers(32") will get 12" pulls rather than 10". The 10" pull didn't fill the 32" cabinet in the right way---too much space to look at on either side of the pull.

Ordering tonight. Will definitely post photos once the Westridge pulls and Paxton knobs are placed.

SO.... my cabinet person installs hardware upon cabinet installation so I don't have the luxury of painters tape! My cabinet person suggested limiting to 2 sizes, so 6" and 8". I think 12" pulls for paneled fridge.

For a 9" drawer, I would do a knob - what did you decide?

I wish I could email you - I'd love to see more photos! Your kitchen is very similar to mine - same floors, perimeter cabinets, etc. but my island is going to be a deep blue/gray (Black Pepper by Benjamin Moore). I'm doing Olympian White Danby Marble.

@Cheryl BKaun - also - have you picked a backsplash? I go back and forth between marble slab as backsplash vs. tile - but leaning towards tile

@sallyT Totally stuck on the backsplash, too. I wanted the Imperial Danby backsplash to match my counters but it doubled the cost. I’m looking at Zellige tiles and a variety of subway tiles. I’m liking the 2.5/3.0 x 8 or 10” to draw your eyes wide. So hard!!
