A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the highway. Looking at the car, he was astounded to see that the elderly woman behind the wheel was knitting.

The trooper cranked down his window and yelled to the driver, “Pull over!”

“No!” the woman yelled back, “Cardigan!”

“You can’t take it with you, and even if you did, it would probably melt.”

Knitting theme happening today! Lovely article in the NYT about the amazingly talented craftsperson who knitted the sweaters in "The Banshees of Inisherin". It's a level of expertise that I would never attain, if I tried for the rest of my life.

Ded - took me awhile!
