Confier Newb. here.

I had this discussion with the conifer dealer (CK) but left with not a sure answer or clarity

Is there any drawback on planting firma rootstock if my location is not in -consistently hot humid- but in the summer, it does get hot and sometimes humid during a --heatwave-

Long Island, .3 miles off the water....

I killed a IceBreaker in the same year planted last year

I have a new IceBreaker on Order with Firma

Whether or not this -change- is for the better, I don't know.

Aka, we do have winter seasons as well. Albit this winter was mild until literally the 2nd week of February. Pretty snowless this season as well.

Is Firma fine for locations that see all *4 seasons*
