I love mixing and matching patterns but it has to be done skillfully so the color tones are in the right family. I love the idea of demin or canvass fabric for a camping theme.

Thank you all for your suggestions, these are so helpful! @Kendrah, we actually have one of those stripped blankets in the bedroom of the Airstream, so you are exactly on style :)

I like the idea of leather/pleather and denim to go with the tartan (gives it an elegant cowboy vibe). I *think* this would go with the overall vintage camping aesthetic...? One thing that is tricky is that the Airstream is super modern inside (see photo below), so we can trying to make that sort of disappear in favor of the vintage style (thus the camping blankets, vintage National Park posters, etc). There is just so much beige (seats, cabinets, floor..), I am trying to give it a little more life!

These are some of the elements we are thinking of including (it is a pretty small space, so not a lot of options of where to add style!)
