How do I get a picture from my computer back into my camera?
Comments (6)Hi Kudzu9, The next time you want the pictures to stay on the camera, simply copy them to the computer. The picture's were on the camera and I transfered 6 picture's from my camera to the computer. With this camera I can put a lock on them to keep from losing them by mistake. I always lock them in, but for some reason I over looked 2 pictures and forgot to put the lock on them. When I put them in the computer, 2 of them were not locked, had they been locked they would have stayed in the cameras memory card. There is nothing unique about it just because it is camera memory. I understand where you are coming from and you probably are more familiar with the digital camera than I am because when they first came out I didn't go out and purchase one right away, I was still using my old style camera. When I purchased my HP Printer I have never had a reason to use the slots for the memory card until now. For you it isn't unique because there are a lot more of them out there now. I am still learning about my camera and the software that came with it and as I learn I become more familiar with it too, it takes time but, I will eventually master how it works and if I run into a problem like I did this time, I trust that I can come here and get excellent help from you all. "Smiles" Thank you for your reply. Hi Owbist, Just happy to be of assistance Thirdfrt. Thank you and I appreciated the fact that you answered me so quickly with a great solution to my problem. It's nice to know that there are other ways to do things in case you have to go that way and I saved your information just in case I would have to go that way. When my 2 youngest grand children were just little tykes I could take well over 150 photos in an afternoon and evening. Many were garbage as I kept the camera on my knee clicking when they presented a suitable shot. I have two young grandchildren ages 8 and 3 years and I take a lot of pictures of them also but, if I don't like what I see I have the option to erase them at that moment and start over. Why save them if they aren't any good right? You must be well coordinated to be able to keep the camera on your knee, if that were me I would be dropping it and getting pictures of the ground instead of the kids. "LOL" Because of that I went out and bought a small tripod for the camera (it also takes videos)and that way I can get better shots or take a video if I want to. It helps. Thanks again for all of your help. thirdfrt!!!...See MoreDo You Think My Curtains Are Too Long / Should I Tie Them Back
Comments (5)Window treatments can be such a pain to get right. Struggling to block the sun in my den as well so I feel your pain. :) Your curtains are beautiful. I'd have to see the whole room to form an opinion on the whole look but I can share my preference for length. I like them when they barely kiss the floor and that's because I find them a pain otherwise when I'm vacuuming. Not usually a fan of tied back curtains but YMMV. It's your home. Try it out and if you like how it looks and it works for you, do it....See MoreHELP! How to get creases out of my IKEA RITVA Faux Linen curtains
Comments (15)Bunny - That's a lot of work. I am trying to avoid all that. But I did contemplate buying the 118" and hemming them with tape in case the 98" were not long enough. I never did plan to wash them. I had read a couple of reviews where that takes some of the stiffness out of the panels and they don't hang as well. I had also read a review where a user popped the panels in the dryer with a wet rag and they came out beautifully. Obviously that did not happen for me. :( Did you iron all of yours after hemming? The curtains are to brighten the bedroom up for a future resale. I didn't see the need to wash. We don't have cats, and do not close the curtains. They may get a little dusty, but we will be long gone by then. Or if we decide to take the curtains with us, I can shake them out. And then I will have to get the wrinkle out again. I started the steaming in the garage this morning. Worked out a neat hanging system. However, I have a stinky, large model, handheld steamer. I have to be careful not to burn my hands. I wish it had a long wand. With some work, the wrinkles and creases are coming out...slowly. I had read another review where someone sprayed cold water all over the hanging panels with a water bottle and the wrinkles came out from the weight. I am trying that on a couple of sections. Also sprayed one area with fabric wrinkle release. But the chemicals will kill me if I keep that up! So far, nothing is drying because it is a cool and damp day out. I think if it were warmer, and the sun was out, I could see quicker results. Anyway, the good news is that I have regained 2" so far in the length. That's enough to blend in with the other curtain panels. I will have two sets on two larger window openings, and a set each on either side of the bed that will be mostly hidden by bedside tables and bed post....See MoreHelp! Where do you hang curtains with picture rail like this?
Comments (9)To me, hanging curtains ABOVE the window frame means that you have three horizontal lines which are taxing to my eye -- you have the top of the window, the curtain rod and then the ceiling. I prefer my windows to be a unit and so hang my curtains on the window frame itself. Then I just have the window and the ceiling, eliminating that third horizontal line. I know hanging curtains high is in style right now but then so was extra long curtains that puddled on the floor (gathering pet hair and dust). Dare to be different!...See Moreteeda
