Thank you so much for your response! Yes, fortunately, my husband is extremely crafty and can handle the stonework. I have included a photo of the space (before we painted the wall) so you can see the overall layout of the room. I appreciate the idea of putting the TV over where the bar is located, but how would you layout the furniture? We have two large sofas and two reclining chairs. Need a view from the piano of the rest of the room -- can't really address one wall in a vacuum. Do you need an entry table zone, or just decor? Could have a floor lamp or a console with a table lamp on top, or a large plant, or a bench with shoe storage underneath, or...

I have the same question as tracefloyd - how many people do you need to seat in the living room on a regular basis? Could you use one of the loveseats in the dining area against the wall for seating? (you'd want to add taller legs) The clock could then go above the loveseat in the dining room. I agree with tracefloyd about the rest
