Upcoming PLANT SALE! Yes, spring is really coming! North suburbs of Chicago.

The Lincolnshire Garden Club will be having its annual Spring Plant Sale on May 20. This year – in a new innovation for us - we will offer plants primarily by pre-order, but select plants will be available for purchase the day of the sale. We have obtained fine plants from several breeders of high-quality plant materials including both popular and unusual natives.

See order form via the link below for all instructions. Pictures of plants can also be viewed on the website. Pick up for both perennials, natives, and annuals will be by appointment on May 20 – instructions will be sent once you order.

Deadline to submit orders and payment for perennial and natives is February 28: These are being bred and raised just for us, hence the longer lead time.

Deadline for annuals form and payments is April 14.

The funds raised allow the Lincolnshire Garden Club to continue its tradition of providing grants to community organizations that support our goals: to promote community beautification, nature restoration, and environmental responsibility. We strive to further the education of members and the public in the fields of ecology and conservation, promote awareness of the critical role of pollinators and native plants, home gardening, horticulture, landscape and floral design.

Grants to our Community :

Since inception the Garden Club has donated over a quarter of a million dollars to our community: to enhance the landscaping, renovate parks, teach vegetable gardening to students, and encourage environmental awareness at the following:

· Village of Lincolnshire

· Vernon Area Public Library

· Community Schools

· Lake County Forest Preserves

· Riverside Foundation

· Depke Juvenile Justice Center

· Women's Residential Services

Since inception, the Lincolnshire Garden Club has donated over a quarter of a million dollars to support our community.
