Paint colors should be chosen in the context of other elements in your room such as carpet, rug, tile floors, the headboard, bedding, decor and other furniture. Revere pewter is a green gray. It wouldn't be the best choice if your carpet or bed is pink beige, for example, a pink beige like Muslin would be. Also, have you considered wallpaper for the accent wall? I have seen some very nice bedrooms with some wallpaper as an accent. I think the one wall as a different paint color would be somewhat dated, if you care about that at all.

Okay, well, I know that once you get into the mauve violet hues, that brown is going to be part of the tint added to the paint. I was just confirming you are headed in the direction professionals have combined with your base color for the paint companies. You can likely do better if you don't like the brown, or than likely the gold tones, finding something more in the silvery hues of the colors you are thinking. They would be lighter colors certainly. In those photos that brought in grays, you will find that grays are either blue or brown based, and the person tinting the base can tell you what tints they are adding...Blues take them towards the purple range while browns towards the tan range. Grays are very hard colors but I always liked just the right shade of yellow with gray. I would think that could be a very pretty office accent wall, and not a brown yellow but something like Lemon Pie, which can veer towards a bit of a green hue, and yet is very versatile, light and clean. If that is too much the wrong direction, than there is a shade of silvery grey out there, that may be the perfect blend for your office setting with the Revere Pewter. Maybe Silver Sage, is a nice idea for your office?

You have too many colors already choose a color you already have somewhere else.

Hi I have used Rockport Grey (HC-105) beside Revere Pewter and I think they go together really well. A really nice lighter colour that ties together is pale oak(OC-20). The rockport grey has a green undertone to my eye and I really like it. I have these two colours in adjoining rooms and they look great without having a jarring difference between the two. I know it looks really dark in the picture of the chips attached but have a look and see if it might work for you.
