Comments (7)Thanks, Chicoryflower! I'll give those a look. I see there's one in Denton, too, which is on the way for me. As for trinkets.... I seem to like '50s kitchen stuff lately. I've been collecting Schilling spice tins and boxes, as that's a family name and I like the irony. I keep an eye out for tablecloths or other interesting linens, perhaps for making a curtain for my kitchen and dining room. I kinda would like a clock with the retro styling. I'm not very knowledgeable about any of it, so I'm not really looking for anything particular. I like really bright colors. And, along that line, just about anything turquoise will catch my eye. I too am hoping to find slab front wood cabinets for my new kitchen in a light colored wood. I love white oak but to save money may go with maple or birch. Comments (3)One reason I would hesitate with marble is that bleach can damage marble, but then what do you clean grout with if it stains.
