Can you help pick out shutter style/color and front door color
I Need help with this house! It belongs to a friend of mine and it needs some changes. Landscaping was updated as you can see in bottom picture. Walkway will be widened and curved a bit using pavers. We want to put shutters on outer 2 windows but does not know what color to choose or style. We also want to repaint doors (I suggest a different style) but color depends on shutter color. He will NOT paint the brick.
Current house colors are Benjamin Moore: HC-94, on bump out in front, rest of house is HC-106.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Comments (6)This is a recommended color from SW for Mindful Gray…homburg gray. I would do this on the shutters and the garage doors and leave the wood door as is. The two middle windows shouldn’t have shutters as the won’t fit appropriately, but you are not painting the siding and the darker outlines of the shutters will show if you don’t replace what was there. Comments (6)Remove the shutters they actually detract form the windows the house is such a mish mash of styles i would keep the front door a simple one painted the same as the house that entry has so much going on no need for anything else.IMO the front porch is all wrong for the house and I would remove it and replace the doors with a large window to make it look like it was never a porch.Sorry but the architect that designed this house should get another job....See More

for the front door,He might try looking for a deep olive green with some bronze undertones

replacing the bright bench w/a wood verision, and getting some numbers clearly displayed. you'll have to enlarge this to see everything
He could always paint that white one, add some colorful outdoor pillows.
I also like all of these wood and copper accents, along w/these paint colors, address plaque, and even a slight limewash on the brick
I know you said he doesn't want to paint. but a very light limewash w/Romabio would give this similar effect. (AND, if will completely wash off within 72 hours if he doesn't like it. there is no upkeep w/this, it's natural liime and will patina w/time. Just a suggestion)
could also go darker w/the Urbane Bronze, Iron Ore, or one of those dark bronze/black tones
Or, maybe you want to go w/a brick color front door. maybe a door w/some lites in them rather than solid
this door style might be nice. you could even have smaller glass panels.
