Need help picking out color for new front door
Comments (0)I'm going to be getting a new front door and am undecided on color. My current door and shutters have been burgundy for almost 20 years. I'm ready for a change but don't know what color to choose. I have brick on the front of my house that has a pink tone to it and my siding is Wolverine Clay color. I'll be switching from a double door to a single door with two side lites. I haven't figured out how to post a picture yet but will try to post one soon. Comments (11)I would match the garage door to the roof. No black. No windows, they just increase the grinning face illusion. The black front door is a good idea, but I would use a colonial style. Other colour ideas could include deep plum and burgundy. Your home is traditional, embrace it!...See MoreNeed help picking shutter, garage door and front door colors!!
Comments (6)This is a recommended color from SW for Mindful Gray…homburg gray. I would do this on the shutters and the garage doors and leave the wood door as is. The two middle windows shouldn’t have shutters as the won’t fit appropriately, but you are not painting the siding and the darker outlines of the shutters will show if you don’t replace what was there. Personally, would like the house with out shutters and would probably paint the siding and garage doors and have no shutters at all....See MoreI need help choosing a roof color, shutter color, new door style
Comments (6)Remove the shutters they actually detract form the windows the house is such a mish mash of styles i would keep the front door a simple one painted the same as the house that entry has so much going on no need for anything else.IMO the front porch is all wrong for the house and I would remove it and replace the doors with a large window to make it look like it was never a porch.Sorry but the architect that designed this house should get another job....See Moreelcieg
