Hi, I am in the process of finishing wainscoting and chair rail in my foyer and would like some helpful opinions please. Should I keep it as is in the picture other than finishing the painting? (And of course I plan on adding black metal hooks and brackets to my shelves once I finish painting them.) Or should I add some more horizontal wood trim pieces to the stair wall and wainscoting. My chair rail is currently 58 inches to top of trim board. I am thinking of adding 1 more horizontal board to be at 40 inches for my chair rail. (This would come just below my outlet and behind the top of my bench in the picture.)And then on my stair wall add 2 more trim pieces, 1 at the 40 inches and 1 at about 26 inches above the one currently in place.
