New quartz has a divet

Patricia S
last year

I am so very frustrated that my brand new courts has a divet in it. I noticed it literally minutes after the installers pulled out of our driveway. I called about it immediately and she called the rep They want to come out and do a repair. I have spent so much time so much thought so much effort into this little project that I don’t want a fixed island I want a brand new one. Has anyone had any luck getting their slab replaced? This is SileStone, so it is not made in China. I don’t think. I was also told that the honed quarts is most more likely to have these types of imperfections in them. Has anyone heard of that before? If that’s the case, maybe I need to get a different finish? a polished finished?
