She takes the time to post quizzes and brain teasers every day as pure fun, and we all enjoy them, therefore express gratitude. Nobody is looking for your criticism, constructive or otherwise. The fun of these quizzes, in case you don't know (though I suspect you do), is often times the wild guesses this group comes up with. The questions may or may not have a definitive answer -- she's going by her daily source and we accept the answer. It's not a real contest with real prizes, so relax. Although you 'appear' to be a new poster, and can therefore feign ignorance, my guess is that you're someone who has been around here a long time and just got bored, so decided to create a new account just so you can antagonize everyone for a while. On the off chance I'm wrong, you would do well to lurk for a while to see how things work before posting. The Sunday brain game comes to mind as I say that.... That said, I can see you've also posted critiques to the daily smile threads too -- seriously?? As if you're the purveyor of all things funny and light? Now that's hilarious.

Jasdip, I did see that! A lot of folks are going to have to do some cutting back.

I confess, I am not a wine drinker nor much of a drinker at all.

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in 2016 and friends bought us 40 bottles of various wines with cute names (Menage a Trois, 19 Crimes, Cupcake etc.) and linked them to each year of our marriage.

I still have most of them and have tried to get rid of them but every time we have a party we end up with more wine as that’s what people tend to bring!

I’ve tried giving them away as prizes at golf tournaments and our annual Canada Day BBQ but it’s a losing battle.

This new guideline is going to make it tougher. 🙂🍷

Anyone that has more than 15 drinks a day is a lush but 15 or less is social drinking in my opinion.

Hahahaha, I've met up with some friends and we go to local dances. Held bi-weekly, but we don't go to them all. DJ.....dance party music (yuck) other times it's 50's-60's, themed nites, and they bring in country bands a few times/year. The crowd I go with is fantastic, all couples, except for me and 1 other female friend. The husbands generously dance with us, and of course all we women get up and dance in a group. Great fun.

I've asked men (strangers) to dance . Sometimes they're sitting alone and I'll get them up. One guy, I liked his style as he dances with his wife, so I asked his wife (and him) if I could dance with him. No problem at all, so we have a couple, generally at every dance.

It's a great night out and I'm the DD at times.

The guy that runs/organizes the dances each week is really good at asking single women up to dance. He asked me the first time I went (the others were all up dancing) and he said it's nice dancing with someone who's tall. He's very tall. I said the same thing back to him. I'm taller than most of the men! He and I get up regularly and we have a good time and laugh. He laughingly told me that I have to come out of my shell. We kibbitz back and forth like that.

The female friend and I are going to a bar this Friday night to hear a country band. Even if no one asks us to dance, we'll hear good music, and we can always do a two-step!
