Shower Systems - What brands

We are currently getting bids on a new build. Our master shower is relatively big at 4x7 and we want to have a regular shower head, rain head, wand and body sprays. i know we are likely going to have to piece this together -- but what brands should we be looking at? Is there is big difference between Kohler, Signature Hardware, Brizo and Rohl?

We used Brizo for all our faucets and shower systems. No issues in the first year living in the new house.

There are shower systems on build.com. You can specify the components and brand in the left-hand menu. Here are some Delta ones. Note that they never include a "regular shower head" and "rain head"; it's one or the other (but I believe build.com staff can assemble whatever combination you would like).

Note that Brizo is a fancy-pants Delta brand and its products are often much more expensive. For example, the Brizo 87375 ($142) show head appears identical to the Delta RP70175PR ($105) but costs 36% more. Buyer beware.

I you're looking at CMH then you need to look a venture uni-form halide pulse start - the 950 series is just like sunlight, and the PAR (that I actually measure) is astronomical. plus this is a commercial lamp, so the price is not astronomical - $45-50 for a 575 watt lamp that lasts for 20,000+ hours, and puts out HUGE PAR! the ballast will cost you 120, but you'll need to get a case and cord etc., but it comes with the wiring diagram which is very easy to put together. I use the Lumenmax reflector, because it is excellent, and very reasonable.

Rufinorox, It looks like below pic except with a slide bar instead of the little fixed holder. I usually find and order things on the internet, but for this ended up at a Ferguson showroom. I would have been clueless about all the parts and pieces needed to put this together without their help. AND, I got to see it in person!! I never thought I'd go to a plumbing /fixture showroom but in this case it was well worth paying a bit more than the online price.

I just paid 750.00 including shipping from Home and Stone for a Hansgrohe system for my kids bath. It included an ECO stationary showerhead, Eco handheld on an adjustable bar, hose, wall receptacle, thermostatic III control plus rough in (275.00), tub spout as well as a faucet and soap dispenser for the sink. I called Hansgrohe before ordering to make sure I had all the right pieces an proper part numbers. Hansgrohe has sets already assembled if they fit your need. I went for the individual pieces to get exactly what I wanted.

Thank you both for your replies. After going to the supply store again, we found the Kohler purist shower system with watertiles as the body sprays. My husband was sold on the trim. And the prices will be about 20-30% less than the list price. They don't like to quote the wholesale prices to the general public, apparently. Our GC will order them and get the lower prices--they just won't sell to us. That Movario set is quite lovely. Didn't realize how much fixtures cost--it adds up quickly-- a lot like buying a car piece by piece! Thanks again!

Have you checked your local code to confirm that you can have all those devices installed and operating the way you want to use them? Many localities are now limiting flow rates and the number of fixtures that can be simultaneously operating in a shower. And if you don't have such restrictions, make sure your hot water supply is adequate to handle the required volume for the amount of time that the shower will take.

we just did what you want to in the same size shower, we used hansgrohe, tgere are quite a few choices

When I added "CA Draught Compliant" to the build.com search, it removed body sprays from options and it won't sell fixtures that don't meet CA flow requirements to CA customers.
