Just checked the forum today. Thanks for all the responses. Yes, it is BM Navajo White and it is growing on me more and more. I think I will have my Dad paint the rest of the cabinets on that wall before I make a final decision. My current appliances(frig, gas slide in range, and OTR Microwave) are white, but I am trying to decide on whether to go with SS or black. I have a painted black island and have already replaced my old white DW with a black one because it looks more blended. So I guess I could go either way on perimeter appliances. That will make a very big difference in the way the painted cabinets look. I like black appliances, but I think the SS will brighten it up a little. Maybe SS with black accents? I have got to take some time to learn how to post pictures here. I have been lurking and posting for months, but have never figured it out. I have some pictures uploaded to my pc. I am in the health care field and not very computer savy.

ARe you still out there, wonbyherwits ? I am officially dying to see your house color and wondered if the above instructions would work for BM paint? If you are out there, please help yet another person looking for a gray with green cast. Anyone else - We have a long ranch/colonial style house (only has 2 floors in the center and 3 gables show through the roof). It is a rough cedar shake that is currently painted a silvery gray color that they probably thought the cedar would naturally turn to. The house just had a brand new slate roof put on, and we will have copper gutters installed and we have a lot of copper showing through the roof due to a zillion vents being covered! (Will all naturally turn that greenish color.) The roofs of the bay windows are now copper and the copper color actually reflects up onto the fascia. Much of the front is clad in a stone, some of it being an irridescent mica stone (we hate it, but don't have enough cash left to change it, so we make the best of it.) We will keep a white trim b/c the windows and garage doors are all new and white, and the shingles will probably stay the black color they are in the pic. The house across the street looks the same, so I wanted something a little different (and better!) Any suggestions would be very appreciated! House before renovations -

I have anew gray currently in my bedroom on the walls and alabaster on the trim. I think it would be beautiful to have the trim and perhaps the door also sw anew gray and the walls alabaster. Another look depending on the height of your ceilings, you could paint the ceiling anew gray with alabaster walls.

@penn307 omg that’s so weird because SW Alabaster looks peachy in my house! I still haven’t found another review saying that to this day, and I’m so baffled when people say it looks grey/yellow. Its really grown on me and I like the vibe of it. now I’m painting the whole house either chantilly lace or simply white BM and they both look ver y stark next to the alabaster. See how peachy the alabaster looks in comparison to the other whites? On the left is chantilly lace, center is Swiss coffee @ 75%, right is simply white BM.
