My first thought is also brushed nickel. Dark colors against white really call attention to themselves and that's not what I would be looking for in a cabinet pull. However, as long as you have definitely decided on a pull style, if it comes in multiple finishes buy a half dozen in a couple to try (as long as they're returnable). You just want to be sure when the holes are drilled that they're going to be right for whichever pull you choose. Knobs are straightforward but there are a lot of different pull sizes.

I think black would match your pendant lights well and probably create unity in your house flow if you already have a lot of black accents. Your floors have a "cool" look to them and black might work better than gold. There are some pretty faucets in black too, like the Brize line which is high end Delta

There is no right or wrong, just personal preference. Don't decide form a drawing. Wait till cabinets are in, get samples of the hardware, test out in your space and then place the order. You can use a kitchen without pulls/knobs!
