Comments (3)I am so glad you've a name and provenance for this rose. One of my roses up here is Maggie from Verrett St in Algiers Point. Blooms are identical to the one sold by Antique Rose Emporium, but the leaf matte-i-ness is a bit different. If I can get cuttings started this summer, I'd like you to have one, if you've room. Comments (4)TSP Will also soften water...I suppose if anyone has water hardness test strips you can test before and after adding the bad STPP ...not a conclusive test but I still think we all have STPP...I'm not convinced there's ever been a problem. The REAL STPP will also turn hard and crusty if its just dropped into water...it will disolve after awhile.
