Comments (6)A cable man told me how to make an unique email addy so that it is to difficult for spammers to figure out. Some on here says it doesn't work but it does. I have not received any spam from anyone since. I have gotten a couple by downloading, where unknowingly agreed to receive email. When I unsubscribe it stops. I think your daughter does the same as I do. I don't understand people using their real name for an email address. My sis does prison ministry and I told her that was dangerous plus she uses her full name in her email address. Her reply was "they don't know my address or phone number". I googled her name and sent her the results. Her name brought up 5 web sites and 2 or 3 had her name and address....See MoreAnother Spam Alert
Comments (8)My husband got one at his office email saying it was from Amazon and his order for his new iPhone had shipped. He forwarded it to his home address to show it to me. He did not know if perhaps I had ordered it with out telling him but he has never been notified about anything by Amazon before. I told him no it was a scam just delete it from both email addresses. He had not clicked on anything in the email, he knows that I tell him all the time don't click on anything lol....See MoreSpam - don't knock it
Comments (38)Well, I suppose working up a decent sweat if it's hot outside, and washing it down with a cold beer - yeah, that's do-able. Spam is just pork. Instead of making sausage out of the weird parts, it gets thrown in with trimmings and canned. There's a high proportion of pig's ears in it; hence the gelatin. The problem I have with it is that like most traditional canned foods, it is way too high in salt. We eat out a lot, and most cooks are much younger. Many of them salt food like there's no tomorrow. I always think, "Just wait till you turn 40 and your doctor sticks you on HCTZ." LOL! I always chuckle when I think of an old Spam radio commercial. Must have been in the early 1970's when I was still in Chicago. An interviewer did a "man on the street" series where he'd ask people what Spam was made of, and then he'd hand them a can to read the label contents. One guy when asked what Spam was made of, was really flummoxed as he'd never eaten the stuff. He said, "Ummm....I dunno, never thought about it." After he read the label (aloud), he said, "Wow, I had no idea it was just pork. I guess I thought it came from something weird - a Spaminal, or something!" Made me laugh every time I heard that one play. Bring on the Spaminals!...See More“Spamming” can sometimes lead to something
Comments (2)Great. Now Houzz will just continue to shove their stupid software ad in my face between each thread change. I've repeatedly asked them to stop; they've done nothing. I guess it's too much to ask from a major contributor over several years, but then I remember how they treated Sophie Wheeler and I'm not surprised. I'm the product, not the customer, here....See Moremaifleur03
