While many different WTs would work, it's most important to determine what your light control and privacy needs are. As it looks like a lot of sunlight is streaming in the DR plus you have two windows to either side of the TV, I think you would benefit from putting in woven blinds that filter the light rather than block it out. If you require total privacy then the woven blinds wouldn't cut it alone. However, you can put a lining if needed and/or pair it with panels, which would be my choice in your situation. Though your windows have varying heights I would hang at the same height and stack them to the sides of the windows so when open, you can enjoy the view outside. For the windows flanking the fireplace, I would just put the panels on the outer side of each window and pull off to that side. If you can get by without the need to open/close the drapes, then you won't need as many panels as you would otherwise and since some of your windows and the slider are quite wide, that would be my first choice. Stationary panels would also work best given I see you have a floor register under at least one of the windows. Though you did not ask about your rooms, I also would suggest adding an area rug in the DR, something darker, so as create a division between the similar wood tones of floor and table. Mine used to be like that before I added a rug and it's a huge improvement. It's hard to tell from your pictures whether it'd be better to move the DR light fixture or the table. I think it might look nice if there is room to move the table to the right and add a low buffet below the window. Perhaps something in a dark or painted wood to add more interest to the area. I just did my 11 year old's room in a paint color called Jamaican Aqua (I think it's a BM color, but could be SW). It's such a great color- light and happy. It's an easy color to find coordinating accessories, especially now when the stores are featuring these tones. We did Trina Turk blue peacock bedding from bed bath and beyond. Which includes navy and lime green. It's a great color combination. Also thought I'd mention that ikea has some teal colored furniture and accessories now. I was thinking of getting the shelves. To advise on various forms of beige and off-white via Internet is difficult. I personally wouldn't suggest trying to find a pure neutral solution, as those work best when you can fully design each color and texture to create the rich look of a successful all-neutral room. But since you're renting, I would advise finding some colors and patterns that can be eyecatchers and they will take your eyes away from the 23 different ways the yellowed version of Navajo White clashes with a cooler tone elsewhere. Throw in a gorgeous tribal kilim or 2 with deep reds, navy, flashes of orange etc. Or whatever your colorway and style profile may be, just get some real patterns and real colors in there. Thank you for all of your suggestions. Yes, I need curtains. I was trying to decide what color - HavingFun - I think those curtains are out of stock. Would a blue or white curtain work? Fabric? I do like the french country/ cottage look. Pillows - blues to match the rug? versus aqua? Yes, I am toying with moving the buffet to under that window. Someone else had suggested that. I don't know if that space where the buffet is currently would look to open. Another person had also suggested moving the sofa to the side where the buffet is, and getting two chairs on the other side (not the pink chair). And, a bench under the big window. I haven't tried it yet. I do like my white chair that matches the sofa. I'll have to play around.
