10bac10- I’m so flattered that you like my basket weave. Dimensions are below. It’s marble tile. In my opinion, using marble is not a decision to be made lightly. There are many posts in Houzz which essentially say ”Stop! Dont use marble!” But , a good friend has had a similar marble in her shower for over 10 years, with not a trace of issue. She takes special care with it and uses specific products in her shower. i don’t have marble anywhere else in my home. My basket weave is 4 feet high and 2 feet wide and bordered with a neutral colored but slightly veined pencil trim which blends with the basket weave and which I think helps to frame the basket weave. (See photo; color may not show accurately due to my crummy camera). The veins shown in the enlarged photo aren’t visible from a distance and are a subtle accent even when seen close- up. Both trim and basket weave are marble. My large and plainer wall tile is not marble. Because the basket weave is marble , I tried to avoid using it on the floor - but it looked unbalanced to me when I only had it on the wall. Again, as noted above, a friend has similar marble and has had no etching, starbursts, etc.,,that marble can get To achieve this, she uses only ph balanced shampoos, conditioners , cleansers, and soap in her shower. I do the same. I wipe down both floor and wall tile after each shower - to speed the drying process- and run a ceiling fan. I squeegee the shower door after showering, It has a special coating to repel water spots and it works beautifully. All my shower tile has been sealed and will need resealing periodically, I don’t find any of this effort a challenge but maybe that’s because I really enjoy having this bathroom after living with a truly awful one for many, many years.

Yay! I'm glad you decided to go with what your heart wanted...orb :) I have (what looks to be the same setup). Not sure that the difference is between yours and my Delta Linden In2ition. The two shower heads (one handheld) snap into each other. Both can be used together or independently. The handheld has multiple settings. The stationary shower-head as a couple of settings but I've not messed with that yet. One main reason I bought this one is that you can operate/adjust the water temp independently from the water on/off/pressure. If you know what temp you like your water, you can set it and forget it. If you could find a waterproof (maybe stick on) "hook" of some sort to hang the handheld on at a lower position for the kiddos, that would be great :) And don't worry about the finish. If something does go wonky with it, Delta has a lifetime warranty on the finish.

A very common way to run plumbing is to have a 3/4" main line that runs to the bathroom, and then each feeder line (sink, shower, commode, etc.) is a 1/2" line coming off the main line. However, when you install one of the units with multiple sprayers I don't know how its connected to the plumbing. Is a unit with multiple sprays and head plumbed as a single unit, possibly using a direct 3/4" line, and then each spray head is connected to the unit using materials (feeder lines, etc.) provided with the controls? Or does the plumber need to run a separate water line from the controls to each spray head or group? If its plumbed as a unit, the controls may have features that ensure the pressure and flow is consistent for each head, but if you make your own design to interconnect everything you will need to have a plumber that understands how to keep it all balanced. I'm replacing my bathtub with a large shower and want to put in a regular showerhead plus a rail-mounted handheld against the same wall. The catch is that I want to be able to run both without a huge flow rate loss. However, from my experience the diverter usually reduces the flow of the entire system, so you can't have both running with full flow rate. E.g. you get 2.5 gpm and have to choose how to divide it up. The diverter valves are very difficult to modify to increase flowrate (unlike the showerheads themselves).
