Right click, "view image" for a magnified view. This is the max zoom available for my property. I mean, you can zoom in further in Google Earth, but there aren't any more details to discover. I am more interested in bed design and garden layout with this topic compared to the up close garden pics that are usually posted here (which I also greatly enjoy!). It was actually someone mentioning a specific GW gardener's Google Earth image that spurred me to post this topic

Upon closer inspection I just didn't get the top piece covered well enough. Another coat & it matches up fine. I think a metallic blackish paint would help define the fluting in the pole & rope detail around the bottom. Maybe I'm just not finished yet? A little dab of antique gold to highlight the bottom starburst piece maybe? I just need to work on the color....keep it from being too uniform. ALL in ALL it isn't rusty anymore! lol :0) The glass globe is still VERY attractive sitting there!

For 20 years, nothing has matched. And since I liked estate sale vintage lamps, all my lamps were different too. But about 5 years ago, I bought two matching lamps from JCPenney. It was kind of nice having the two lamps in the bedroom match, while being on unmatched antique bed tables and unmatched vintage furniture. It's like the lamps linked everything together. About 3 years ago, I found two more nice looking lamps at HomeGoods, these two with deep red shades, so I moved them into the bedroom, placing one on a rattan table also from HomeGoods, and one on a vintage sewing machine base, turned into a night table. My rattan bed was bought new off the net, my dressers bought at different times from estate sales, one is painted black and one is pecan. My mahogany desk came from a classified ad, and the leather desk chair came from Sam's Club. The two JCPenney lamps moved into the living room where they are the only two matching entities in another sea of furniture that works well together, but does not match. and that's the way I decorate.... Definitely has happened to me! I wanted navy in my family room. A consultant picked Summer's Day, a saturated but slightly muddy green. I would have never picked it but it looks great. Same with our den. I'm not a beige person. I was thinking Palladian Blue. Consultant picked Alexandria Beige, which is a deep, saturated beige/brown. Looks perfect. I decided to use whatever the consultant suggested for those few rooms and I am so happy with them. We also once decided to forego our usual master bedroom color and go with orange. Bright orange. I loved the color but not for our bedroom. After 6 months we had it painted to our signaure master color: Middlebury Brown. So happy we repainted.
