Since your query is for bedroom sconces and headboard, look at bedrooms that feel similar to your choices so far. I agree that the night stands look a little low - well at least the lamps do. You want your side lights to be high enough to read while you're in bed. I think a colourful bed spread would look nice. One other suggestion that may or may not work depending on what the other wall looks like, but would you be able to make a wall of drapes to enclose your open shelving? Stretch the drapes all the way across the shelves, wall and window.
