Hi, anyone from Vancouver Canada? I have been trying to find a source for a Corian solid surface shower pan but am having a difficult time finding one. I've called a few bathroom supply stores and went to a few Home Depot and they only have the ugly acrylic ones and only in white, Corian.com does not even mention this type of product so why is that? If it's such a great product why wouldn't they advertise it?

@wdccruise I didn't mean they were comparable nor was I criticizing cast iron shower pans - I've had cast iron bathtubs and kitchen sinks and I love the material, so I'm heavily leaning toward that choice. The shower will be replacing a large soaking tub that we never use, so I'm basically starting with a blank slate and trying to decide which way to go. Curbless is nice and we are an older couple so designing for the future makes sense. The designer is strongly recommending a tiled shower pan but I detest grout, especially when there's so much of it in mosaic tile installations. Lots to think about before making a big expense...

Could these be Fibo? I don't know much but I saw a display at a bath store and these look to be some kind of surface or coating over marine grade wood.

@joseph_corlett By any chance, do you have any photographs of shower window trim jobs that you've done, so I can see how it should look and can show another fabricator what type of trim fabrication/install I'm looking for? I've really had a time finding clear photos of this online.
