Comments (7)Your second picture is too small, is that the thumbnail version of the picture? It's easy to post your pictures from Photobucket here. Just copy and paste the HTML code into your post. From what I can tell from the first picture, I would probably just leave them bare, as they windows and view are both nice....See MoreNeed window treatment suggestions for 5-part bay window, please
Comments (14)I like the idea of using drapes and thanks for the pic @valinsv and I will probably be stealing your bay window look with the candles etc. it looks great. Our living room is tiny and I have noticed that since I removed the vertical blinds, the room feels so much bigger than before, which is why I wanted to go with something mounted inside the window. Do you guys think that using the drapes will make the room feel small again, or will using the inside mount blinds, make it even worse? The drapes across the window will certainly make my life a whole lot easier. Someone had also mentioned traverse rods which I had never heard of. I have looked into them, but I am not sure if it is a solution I would like since it seems as though I will have to use the little hooks on my blinds. Has anyone ever used them, and if so any thoughts? Thanks for the tip on the handles, I will look for them the next time I am at Lowes. Thanks!...See MoreWindow treatments for whole wall of windows.
Comments (3)I thought about a tension rod with sheers. We could move the tension rod down lower when the window is open. Then I realized that is a really wide tension rod to be moving every time I open a window. I wish I could find pleated cellular fabric so I could make my own shade and make it go upside down. Or even an extra wide roller shade hung upside down....See MoreWindow treatment for windows that run into wall on one side?
Comments (8)Making a tree? That’s awesome. You sound quite creative so here’s a thought. Why don’t you use plain shades, as the others have suggested, and paint your window trim the wall colour, so it all just becomes background. Then you could paint or buy a simple mural (branches, vines, woodland stuff), and flow it right over the sill and trim, on the wall? With a 3D tree, it could be quite spectacular. I’m not exactly sure what your theme is, but you could even hang stuffed monkeys, birds, fairies, etc. (whatever suits your design).
