How old is your oldest houseplant? can you post pics?
Comments (22)the oldest plant i own is my 18 year old variegatum (ocean) spider plant. on my 11th birthday my mother gave me money to spend, so i picked out a spider plant from a local greenhouse. she is still growing strong! i also have a snake plant that was given to me by my grandmother back in Christmas 1998, i have no idea how old it is, but i'm assuming it's about a year younger than my spider plant or maybe the same age... i must've replaced his pot over 5 times from it breaking through it... it's going to be a 6th time since it's starting to broke through this one. lol!...See MoreCan we still post pics within the post?
Comments (56)Brenda im so sorry you cant see it ,it is so funny. I will explain it a little bit. It is the music to Funky Town its a fast beat and it is a feeder camera catching chickadees and tufted titmouse at the feeder eating. But they put it to the music and speed it up and it looks like the birds are dancing and getting jiggy with it. The titmouse is the main character and the chickadee dances along and drums with his beak. Its really cute. And it is real pictures i think they put to video ,its not computer make believe. Its the titmouse being dominant over the feeder and the chickadee looking for danger and cracking seeds but it looks like they are dancing and drumming, very funny, I wish you could see it.-------bonnie...See MoreOT: Can't figure how to post pics!!!!
Comments (7)If you don't want to set up an account, you can use TinyPic (a Photobucket service). This is the easiest way I know - directions were posted by mightyanvil as follows: "RE: Exterior options. (Follow-Up #3) posted by: mightyanvil on 07.31.2006 at 10:05 am in Building a Home Forum To post a photo: go to http://tinypic.com (it's free and no sign up is required) select "browse" and go find your jpg, png, gif, or tif photo file and select it (it will be automatically downsized to 250K) select the "upload image" button copy the contents of the "HTML" window and paste it into the text part of your message. Now preview you message. If you can see the photo, submit the message If you are unsure of yourself try all of this first at the "test forum" which is linked at the bottom of the main forum page. You might have to play with the dimensions of the original photo to keep the downloaded version from being too large since that sometimes stretches the text of all messages to the right (possibly off the screen)" Claire Here is a link that might be useful: TinyPic site...See Morebad client or bad realtor
Comments (18)"One of his strategies was to take out the flyers from the for sale sign to force potential buyers to call into his office" If everyone else in your area has flyer's in front of their house, then you should have them as well. I am a buyer. These types of realtor games just make me angry. If I have to call this guy to find out what should have been on a flyer, I'm very likely to play a few games with him myself. It is his JOB to keep your flyer box full, or at least call and ask if you need any extra. "When I was at the house today the neighbors told me that 6 different families have been by in the last 2 weeks to look at the house yet my realtor just told me that no one has looked in over a month." OMG. You had SIX prospective buyer's come by and he didn't tell you about a SINGLE one? You hired this idiot to SELL your house, not hide potential buyer's. He sounds like he is trying to do everything but this. FIRE HIM. "My contract with the realtor isn't up for 2 more months but we are just taking it off the market. I feel bad because he did the pictures and virtual tour, but don't know what else to do." Don't feel bad for him. He is trying to keep your listing alive for the sole purpose of padding his real estate portfolio while you are stuck with the costs of paying for two mortgages. He should feel bad for lying to you and expecting to be paid for this. Glad you were able to rent it. It might be wishful thinking, but I think the market is going to improve by 2009. Maybe your renter might be interested in buying the house on a land contract? "I have not told the realtor how I really feel because he is in a business group and we are friends." He sure isn't acting like a friend. Otherwise, he would have told you about all the people who expressed an interest in your house. I'd go with ReMax next time, and follow xamsx's suggestions for only listing with an agent for three months instead of six. If you want to ask him about the six prospective buyer's, you might ask in a way that doesn't rat on the neighbor, but lets him know you have other eyes watching....See MoreJeffrey R.
