Comments (20)Sherry, your Pizza Crust is always so impressive. I have it and it does not give me that kind of explosion. I rarely photograph it. Debra, Picasso's Intrigue is stunning in that photo. And you got a good shot of Private Reserve-it is so hard to get that kind of no splotch picture. Pink Lemonade Party is such a pretty pink. Brad, I agree that seedling is a "look at me" kind of plant! I still have Priscilla's Rainbow because it is such a good plant and it really is a looker in a clump. David, Proper Stranger is pretty and at that size probably really stands out. I like Passing Fancy as well. Nan, Papa's Goose looks good in your photo. I have debated that one but have not yet convinced myself I really need it! Still enjoying everyone's posts when I can!! So nice to see them on these dreary winter days!!! Comments (16)Paula, the Jetson joke is really unbelievable! Saija, I am happy to see you are with us…..why not post hostas that you have even if they’re not from 2022? Gary and Beth, your Kaledichrome hostas are amazing! Love the striped leaves! NW, you have a lovely view from your window! I think you are the one who inspired me to buy Krossa. Beth, Saija and Sunnywood, all of you have perfect Komodo Dragons ……It looks bigger than Krossa….is it? Saija, I have been having houzz problems too. For some reason I can’t access my library photos through the app. I have been going to my old bookmarked link through the hosta forum. debra...See MoreHosta Mini or Smalls 2022 ...............
Comments (17)Beth , peren and old_dirt, I have some of the same as you three do. Let me comment on ones I don’t have….. Beth, Bitsy Gold is a cute one. Looks especially good in a pot. I love the trio of minis in a pot as well. Peren, well….you just have soooo many! Some new ones I have purchased are ones I’ve seen in your garden. Sometimes I buy multiples and plant them together as well to make a bigger plant quicker…..lol I really like Cracker Crumbs, Crumb Cake and your row of 4 minis is cute. I love Teaspoon and Ladybug! old_dirt, your Mini Skirt looks great in that planter! I have seen Surfer Girl before, but in your garden it has a lovely light green shade. Also love Pocket Full of Sunshine….. I had one, but I believe it developed nematodes so I tossed it. I may have to give it another try! debra...See MoreHosta Leaves 2022 ........................

So it became popular. …today i would not introduce a plant with that flaw. there have been look a likes that have come after it that dont burn. From hugos database Alex J. Summers Distinguished Merit Award 1986 (Caroline Williams). Purchased by Mrs. Williams out of a batch of H. sieboldiana seedlings at Bristol Nursery, Connecticut in 1936. Named by G. W. Robinson of the Oxford Botanical Gardens (1963). 20" tall. Light Shade. 50-90% shade. This yellow edged sport of H. sieboldiana 'Elegans' is always at the top of the popularity list. The heavily corrugated round blue leaves are edged with a wide golden border. The 3' clumps are topped with white flowers in late spring. In areas of low humidity, or with any sun, the gold margin tends to sun scorch....See MoreSaija_Finland
