If over the fireplace is your choice for t v install, just start your living room furniture past the front door. Imagine your front entry where the tall floor plant is to the left. Gives you room to wall into the house and have seating. Love this set up, but suggest swivel chairs , or even four swivel chairs, instead of a couch in the mix.

From the floor plan it looks as if there is another door into the space. Is that correct? If so, set up the porch so that people come in the other door.

I can’t read the wall length measurements but if I’m understanding floor plan, the entire front space is open from the fireplace on left over to master bedroom wall on right. I would ignore the plug above fireplace for TV placement. Put TV on master bedroom wall & have couch face it with its back to fireplace. Place a sofa table behind couch if you want more separation of space. Hang art over fireplace & create a seating area around it, preferably with swivel chairs. Arranged this way, the entry path from front door won’t be right through the main seating area. Looks like there’s no walls facing the entry or the entire front wall of house - just sides of kitchen cabinets. If that’s right, no wall space is being lost by flipping couch front & TV to other side of room. That would expand the entertainment flow too with the double doors to the screened in porch in the main seating area - open the doors & guests will easily flow in / out.

You could do a small seating area in front of the fireplace, maybe just some chairs. And then do second, primary seating area on the other side of the room with the TV either on the bedroom wall or the same wall next to the front door.
