My mother has had the axis II for almost 4 years now! It looks and sits like brand new. I loved it so much that I got one myself two years ago and its holding up great! We both got the douglas fabrics and they are breeze to clean and I rotate the seats and pillow backs every few months and I haven't had any foam giving out or indentations. Hope this helps!

You can always have cushions or covers made but the leather would not match even if it were the same color theoretically - upholstery and leather has to come from the same dye lot. You could have contrasting cushions made so that it looks like a deliberate choice. I have seen this done with leather sofas where the seats are covered in a strong patterned fabric. It typically has somewhat of a Ralph Lauren/American West vibe as the ones I have seen done with leather use what almost appears to be woven blankets or other iconic western patterns. You could google and see if you find other ways that contrasting cushions are utilized in different ways that might fit in better. It is not at all uncommon and somewhat of a current design trend to have contrasting patterns with fabric upholstery.
