I have to disagree with the posters above. I much prefer treating each set of double windows as one. The division in the center would be annoying and possibly let in glare. It would also drive my OCD crazy, as you'd mentioned, in making sure that they are lined up properly. The only difficulty that I could forsee, is that if you chose a heavy woven shade, which you aren't considering, because that would tend to be very heavy. I've already broken 2 sets of double windowed blackout cell shades, which were replaced by the company. The third replacement I decided to make as 2 separate shades because they are extremely heavy, but the light which pierces the center section, even though the distance is miniscule, is annoying. I don't know how you can hang anything outside mount and still use the cabinet to the left. Are you wanting to soften the windows or just have privacy when you need it? If you just need occasional privacy then I'd go with inside mount cellular shades. Just be aware that when they're down, they won't hang perfectly straight where the windows overlap.

Unless you need privacy at night, you don't need anything on the French doors. And yes, there is not a lot of room. If you really want something, then do white linen sheers that will cover part of the stationary doors, and I'd use two separate rods, one for each set of doors. They'd have to stack back on the right sides because the left hand doors are the operable ones, and may look awkward.

Options abound, that will literally disappear when not needed. Yes, even for the transom. NO....NO...... to curtain panels. Not enough room! I see no reason to add a window treatment to the entry door at all. Perhaps a film on the glass, or change to a seeded less open glass. I see no reason for grilles on the window but you aren't showing exterior. There are no grilles on the back.
