Maximum size for floating deck?

I'm considering different options for a DIY deck and I'm leaning towards a floating freestanding deck, however the size of the deck is larger than any reference I've found online (20' x 40' = 800 sqft).

A few facts about the location of the deck:

1. The deck will be built on top of an existing concrete slab. It's well settled, but a bit uneven.

2. My house is made out of stucco and I'd like to avoid drilling into the walls

3. There's only an 8 inch height between the concrete slab up to the doorway.

My main concern with the build is the size and span of the floating deck. The conrete is well settled and I can use adjustable footings to make it all level. But since I haven't found any other floating deck projects online close to this size, I wonder if I should worry?

I know there are permit limitations around the maximum size for a floating deck, but I'm asking for advice and concerns from a practical standpoint.
