If you were open to any of them, that might make your arrangement easier. being able to place things without having an obvious TV in the room when it isn't in use. We have a TV mounted above a fireplace and it ends up straining your neck to look up that high from a couch. Comments (6)Build in/put in proper shelving/cases on both sides. Re-arrange your couches so they aren't invading the alcove area. That pretty little cabinet and table need to live elsewhere. Comments (8)If you are looking at it strictly based on lookks My first instinct is to center the TV over the fireplaceve. If you want to go further you could cut the wooden panel to be over the fire place only not side to side full wall. This will create focal point.
