Comments (4)Wow, I love your breeze block wall! Just a question, how white were you thinking of painting the house? To me, stark white is so ... styrofoam-y. But white with a drop or two of robin's egg blue, or mint-y green -- very very pale, just enough to hint at a color, would look fabulous in your setting with a bright yellow door. And might work better with all your cement than a more pure white....See MoreHelp! need to get rid of this ugly yellow! complete exterior remodel
Comments (2)Don't you miss those shade trees? Bet they helped lower HVAC bills! If you like a more classic look, here is something pretty. Especially helpful if you like shutters; right now they're out of place on your window style. Exterior lights should be about 1/3 of the front door's height. Columns could change to 8' squares, IMO. Romabio can help you change the brick color if you want to lighten it....See MoreExterior remodel
Comments (14)I’d amp up the charm factor with decorative railings and square white columns. If budget allows, resurfacing the porch floor. This with white or black rails and black front door. Off white columns and rails. Square columns, painted front door. Ignore awnings, showing white columns and rails: Landscaping changes will make a huge difference, too....See MoreExterior Remodel advice

It would have a slight angle that would then drop down into a hidden gutter where the front porch meets the slope of the actual house. The drawings were more or less inspiration, a way to show where we were thinking of heading. Just wasn’t sure what opinions would be on the look and what colours people would suggest....See Morecpartist
