I think if you leave the fuel cap tight when not in use pressure builds up in the tank. At least it does on my two-cycle equipment. I always loosen the cap a little when i'm not using them.

Thanks Manton. I still had no luck. The one wire that goes back to the coil with the mounting bolt on it,,,,,i stuck a metal clip in it at the end of ground wire. Held the spark plug in my hand ,,,and it was firing in my hand ,,,,with out any shock. Do u think it could be the ground wire is bad??? or the coil. I even took the ground wire and mount it on the muffle bolt. Still the same thing. Thanks for help......any idea again,,,,,greg

I have a Walbro carburetor on my 18hp briggs. I bought a rebuild kit and removed all accessible items from the carb except for the float valve seat which was a brass press in style. I had read on another forum that one way to get it out was to use a self-taping screw to tread into the sleeve and then use a crow bar to engage the top of the screw and leverage the sleeve out. I happen to have some screws left over from a metal building project and after cutting the drill tip off, I slowly threaded the screw into the sleeve. Got it in about 1/4" before it got pretty tight so decided to try the crowbar. Used about 20 lbs on a three foot bar to pop it out. Worked great. Motor runs like a new one.

Since you have a freebie, makes sense to use it. Mclane makes quality products. Personally, I think stick edgers are the way to go if speed and quality are your top concerns.
