Need advice on neutralizing red tones in acacia wood table

We remodeled our home this year. The color scheme of our home changed from red woods and tan colors to light wide plank wood floors, dark stained cabinets and greige walls. We have a beautiful solid wood acacia table, but it was red, and no longer goes with our home. We decided to sand it down to see the natural look, and go from there. It is still quite red/pink. Does anyone have any experience neutralizing the red tones in acacia wood? We are afraid that if we add stain, it will still have too much red. We love the variation in tones, but would like them to be more of a neutral brown. I would really appreciate any advice! I added before and after photos.
